Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Bowie Baysox and Reading Fightin Phils.
The Bowie Baysox claimed a close win over the Reading Fightin Phils, due in large part to Juan Jones. The Bowie right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-0 win. The first-place Baysox have won 6 in a row.
Bowie starter Juan Jones was exceptional. The 6-foot-4 right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 10 innings of work.
"My gosh almighty, Juan was tremendous," said Bowie manager Seth Dugas.
