Berumen Slugs Thunder to 14-4 Win
The Trenton Thunder knocked off the Altoona Curve, 14-4, at Arm & Hammer Park. Jose Berumen was a big reason Trenton won. The designated hitter went 4-4 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 and driving in 6. Trenton, at 14-19, occupies last place in the Northern Division.

Berumen contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Trenton in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Berumen took a cutter from Chris Hall and stroked the home run to right-center. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Thunder to leap in front, 3-1.
