Mets Slap 2-1 Loss on Flying Squirrels
|
Pitcher Mike Wade was sensational for the Binghamton Mets in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Wade picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Oscar de Castro finished the game for Binghamton and earned his 3rd save. Binghamton is 5th in the Northern Division with a record of 15-18.
Ray Partipilo, the 26-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Partipilo contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put Binghamton up, 2-1.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Partipilo.
