SeaWolves Subdue Binghamton, 3-1
The Erie SeaWolves picked up a win at Jerry Uht Park, knocking off the Binghamton Mets, 3-1. Starting pitcher Johnny Redfield was a big reason why. Trenton Light earned the save, his 2nd. The wins continue to add up for Erie. The latest makes it 8 in a row.

Zachary Burgess had a big run-scoring triple for the SeaWolves in the bottom of the third inning. With Erie leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Newton Seguin, who is tied for 6th in the EL in quality starts with 4, and swatted a triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the SeaWolves ahead, 3-1.

"We busted our tails," said Binghamton manager Terrell Hagans. "But we came up short."
