Fisher Cats Grind Out 2-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring affair between the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Harrisburg Senators, pitcher Garrett Enlow was the difference between victory and defeat. The New Hampshire right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 2-0 Fisher Cats win. In 7 innings, Enlow surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Alex Soto nailed down the save.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Fisher Cats had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when first baseman Esteban Romero hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Joel Peterson and made the score 1-0, Fisher Cats. Romero went 1 for 4.
"That was a really good outing by Garrett," said New Hampshire manager Cesar Banuelos.
The first-place Fisher Cats improved to 21-13.
