Fisher Cats Nip Senators, 6-5
|
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats beat the Harrisburg Senators, 6-5, in part because of center fielder Brad Taylor. He went 4-5 with 3 doubles. He scored 2 times. Ricky Padilla earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3.1 innings. His record is now 2-1. New Hampshire now sits at 18-18, while Harrisburg falls to 15-20.
Paul Sirois helped out the New Hampshire cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the right fielder went 1-3.
"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Taylor told the New Hampshire Citizen.
