Mark Goree knocked in 5 runs to help Richmond beat Binghamton, 10-4. The Eastvale, California native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. Rod Strader earned the win. Javier Hernandez took the loss for Binghamton. Richmond now sits at 24-14, while Binghamton falls to 19-19.

With Richmond leading 5-3 in the top of the seventh, Goree hit a fastball from Josh Starlin for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Flying Squirrels ahead, 8-3.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Richmond manager Fernando Melendez.
