RubberDucks Make It 4 Straight with 8-2 Win
FirstEnergy Stadium was the site for Eastern League action featuring the Reading Fightin Phils and Akron RubberDucks.

The Akron RubberDucks locked up a win at FirstEnergy Stadium, knocking off the Reading Fightin Phils, 8-2. On the mound for Akron was right-hander Chris Mlnarik. He played a major role in the triumph. The RubberDucks are now 20-17.

Akron used a well-timed hit by Josh Parks to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the RubberDucks ahead, 5-2. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"We took it on the chin tonight," said losing manager Daniel Rapp.
