Yard Goats Send Binghamton Home with 6-2 Loss
The Hartford Yard Goats used the hitting of first baseman Bobby Gardner to subdue the Binghamton Mets, 6-2. For the game, Gardner was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was 22-year old right-handed pitcher David Soto.
