The Reading Fightin Phils topped the Binghamton Mets, 3-2, in Eastern League action at FirstEnergy Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Reading pitcher and Madison, West Virginia, native Dusty Wiedemann. The Fightin Phils' win now puts them at 26-14.

Matt Grondin had an important at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fifth, when he hit a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season put Reading on top, 3-1.

Wiedemann offered a curt "no comment" when asked to discuss the win after the game.
