Josh Milliken, who is tied for 7th in the EL in quality starts with 5, was locked in. The left-hander led the Portland Sea Dogs to a 7-6 win against the Akron RubberDucks at Hadlock Field. The 5th-place RubberDucks now sit at 18-23.
In the bottom of the fourth, Portland first baseman Nate Miller had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and two out, Miller stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 7-0, Portland. For the game, he was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
