Conditions were not ideal but Erie and Bowie were able to put their game in the books.

The Erie SeaWolves called upon starter Seth Thornton, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Bowie Baysox, 6-2. In 8 innings, Thornton surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 12 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs.

The SeaWolves got a big at-bat from third baseman Eddie Maceda. For the game, Maceda was 3 for 5 with a triple and a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 7th double of the season gave Erie a 2-1 lead.
