The Richmond Flying Squirrels topped the Portland Sea Dogs, 8-2, with third baseman Marcos Iniguez playing a big role. Iniguez went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Flying Squirrels in the win. Kyle Norris notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. His record now sits at 5-1. The save was credited to Charlie Fleet, his 10th.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth when Iniguez, who is tied for 9th in the EL in total bases with 75, hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Flying Squirrels into the lead, 3-1.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Iniguez told the Richmond News.

With the victory, the Flying Squirrels record now stands at 25-18.
