4-0 Senators Win over Thunder Evens Season Record
|
Harrisburg Senators starter Alex Gallargo pitched a strong game against the Trenton Thunder at Arm & Hammer Park, leading the Senators to victory, 4-0. Gallargo picked up the win for Harrisburg, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 4-3. Picking up the save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Danny Montes.
Harrisburg used the timely hitting of Zachary Anderson to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Senators on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Alex did a heck of a job," said Harrisburg manager Tan Timmermans.
The Senators saw their win-loss record go to 21-21. At the same time, the Thunder fell to 19-24.
