Thunder Get One-Run Win at Altoona
The Trenton Thunder besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Altoona right fielder Steve Urich by beating the Curve, 4-3, at People's Natural Gas Field. Urich went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. After today's action, Trenton sits at 17-28; Altoona slips to 27-17.

Trenton used a well-timed hit by Josh Rhoads to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Thunder ahead, 4-3. Though it was his only hit in 1 at-bat, it was important.

"Both teams played hard," said Trenton manager Pat Gilman.
