A 5-RBI performance from the 23-year old right fielder John Calvin helped the Harrisburg Senators beat the Erie SeaWolves, 7-2. Melvin Vasquez was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. Ricky Whorton closed the door for Harrisburg, picking up his 1st save of the year.

Early in the game, Calvin had a 3-run home run for Harrisburg. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Senators on top, 3-0.

"No disrespect to the other team," said Harrisburg manager Tan Timmermans. "But it's nice to get an easy win."
