Trantham Deals New Hampshire 2-0 Setback
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Portland Sea Dogs and New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

In a tight game between the Portland Sea Dogs and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, pitcher Tyler Trantham was terrific on the mound. The Portland right-hander helped his team to the 2-0 win. Tyler Ropson nailed down the save.

Trantham allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings for Portland. With the win, the southpaw is 3-3 with an ERA of 3.97.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Trantham.

The Sea Dogs are now 21-26, while the Fisher Cats fall to 22-25.
