Lucero Gets Win in Bowie Rout
Akron had no answer for Bowie Baysox hurler Carlos Lucero, who overwhelmed RubberDucks hitters as the Baysox coasted to victory, 11-1. Bowie raised its record to 26-21 with the win.

Lucero was the winner. He's now 4-4, after putting the Akron offense in a vise grip. Over 9 innings, he gave up 1 run on 4 hits, while racking up 7 Ks.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Akron skipper Brian Zimmerman.
