Pico Squelches Altoona Offense
|
David Pico pitched a gem in leading Binghamton to a 2-0 victory over the Altoona Curve. Danny Miranda was credited with the save for Binghamton, his 1st of the season. The Mets raised their record to 26-22.
Pico overpowered the Curve. The Binghamton right-hander allowed 2 hits over 8 innings, while recording 10 punchouts. With the win, he is 1-3 on the season.
"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Pico.
