Trenton starter Rafael Graham pitched effectively against the Richmond Flying Squirrels at Arm & Hammer Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Graham yielded 1 run over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 5-3. David Harris closed it out for his 10th save.

Mike Ratliff dealt the Flying Squirrels a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Trenton leading 2-1, Ratliff, who is tied for 9th in the EL in stolen bases with 7, hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single.

In postgame remarks, Ratliff applauded his team's "toughness."

The Thunder now have a record of 23-27 with the win over Richmond.
