Curve Down Senators, 2-0
|
Mario Morales pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Harrisburg Senators, despite Morales's fine outing, dropped a 2-0 decision to the Altoona Curve at FNB Field. The Curve sit in 5th place in the Southern Division with a record of 19-30.
One of the key players for the Curve was shortstop Jesse Pfenning, who drilled a single in the top of the fifth inning. For the game, Pfenning was 1 for 3.
"We didn't score," said losing manager Tyler Lord. "That was the problem."
