Durham Beats Toledo in 10-Inning Thriller

The outcome was not decided until the very end at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
The Durham Bulls and the Toledo Mud Hens played into extra innings before the winner was determined. The Bulls won it, 6-5, in 10 innings. In the game, Durham center fielder Dennis Wilkes went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Durham reliever Hugo Ramirez picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. John Collura absorbed the loss.
The Bulls got a clutch hit from left fielder Matt Dobson. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bulls.
"The crowd was boisterous today," said Dobson.
The last-place Bulls are now 16-19, the Mud Hens 18-18.
