Getting an impressive start from Matthew Boucher, Buffalo beat Syracuse by the score of 7-2. The win makes Buffalo 23-14.

Jorge Ayala had a big 3-run home run for the Bisons in the bottom of the third inning. With Buffalo leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a changeup from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Freake and swatted a home run to left. It was his 4th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bisons ahead, 5-0.

"Matthew was missing bats all night," said Buffalo manager Casey Bac.
