Richmond and New Hampshire got after it at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.

The Richmond Flying Squirrels handed the New Hampshire Fisher Cats a sound defeat, 11-3, at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Ryan McClure was a main contributor to the win. He was 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Richmond. The Flying Squirrels win now puts them at 33-18.

With Richmond leading 2-0 in the top of the second, McClure hit a 2-run single off New Hampshire hurler John Gongloff. It was the 58th hit of the season for McClure and put his team ahead, 4-0.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," McClure told the Richmond Citizen.
