New Hampshire starter Jairo Olcese put a stranglehold on the Binghamton offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Fisher Cats to a 1-0 win. Rich Rowley got credit for the save for New Hampshire. It was his 3rd of the year. New Hampshire is now 31-20. Binghamton is 25-26.

Brian Burton, the 24-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Burton contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put New Hampshire up, 1-0.

Afterward, Burton deflected to his teammates. "Heck of an effort all around," he said.
