SeaWolves Get Close Win Over Baysox, 7-6
Bowie center fielder Ruben Nolasco had a good game, even if his team did not. The Baysox dropped a 7-6 decision to Erie at Prince George's Stadium. Nolasco slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Reliever Bonifacio Guita picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Eric Fox, who is tied for 5th in the EL with a 9.4 K/9 rate, took the loss. Picking up his 6th save was 31-year old left-handed pitcher Scott Bukowski.

Erie used the hitting of Rob Castillo to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the SeaWolves on top, 6-4. For the game, Castillo had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Castillo.

With the win over Bowie, the SeaWolves improved to 20-30.
