Vuckovich Leads Thunder to Win
Trenton beat Erie in a rain-soaked ballgame.

Matt Vuckovich impressed in the 8-4 Trenton win over Erie. Vuckovich was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Picking up the win was Mario Guadamuz. He went 7 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits. The right--hander struck out 6 and walked 2. Phil Martel earned his 9th save, after closing out the game.
