Despite the rain, the fans at Coca-Cola Field enjoyed a good ballgame.

The Buffalo Bisons received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Justin Blatchford, allowing them to bump off the Scranton WB RailRiders, 2-0. Jason Clark earned his 1st save, after closing out the game.

Buffalo starter Justin Blatchford was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed no runs on a miserly 3 hits over 8.1 innings with no bases on balls.

Said Scranton WB manager Steve Schwab: "You just have to tip your cap sometimes."

Buffalo currently is in third place in the North Division at 19-22.
