Knights Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Bisons, 3-2
BB&T Stadium was the site of a tense game between the Buffalo Bisons and Charlotte Knights.

The Charlotte Knights had to overcome a fine performance from Buffalo pitcher Bill Higgins to grab a 3-2 win at BB&T Stadium. Higgins allowed 1 run over 6.1 innings. Charlotte reliever Antonio Gonzalez picked up the win, raising his record to 3-2. Kevin Qualls was tagged with the loss.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Charlotte trailing 2-1, Mark Clardy hit a cutter from Kevin Qualls to right-center for a 2-run double. Just like that, the Knights had a walk-off win.

"This place was electric at the end," Clardy said.

With the victory, the Knights record now stands at 27-17.
