Huntington Park hosted a real pitchers' duel.
The Columbus Clippers got a stellar effort from pitcher Jose Acosta, helping Columbus score a win over the visiting Buffalo Bisons, 2-1. In 5.1 innings, Acosta surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run.
Brian Main, who is tied for 8th in the IL in runs scored with 25, aided the Columbus cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3.
