McElhose Helps Red Wings Beat Bats, 6-2
The Rochester Red Wings beat the Louisville Bats by a score of 6-2. Rochester first baseman Matt McElhose deserved the lion's share of the credit. McElhose was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Red Wings. Efrain Espinoza earned the save, his 7th. The Red Wings improve their record to 24-21 with the win over Louisville.

Rochester used the timely hitting of Danny Jacob to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Red Wings on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
