The Charlotte Knights picked up a win at BB&T Stadium, courtesy of Colin Stack. The right-hander helped his team stop the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 2-0. The winner was Stack. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Antonio Torres. John Wright earned the save for Charlotte.

Charlotte took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Joey Simpson hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Knights.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Simpson.

The defeat makes Lehigh Valley 19-25.
