Pawtucket turned a good effort from starter Eric Flores into a win over the Durham Bulls at McCoy Stadium. The Red Sox won the game, 4-0. Picking up his 4th save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Donovan Scott. The Red Sox, at 18-29, sit in last place in the North Division.

Jasper Pitlock had a big 2-run home run for the Red Sox in the bottom of the third inning. With Pawtucket leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Jesus Magallan and swatted a home run to left. It was his 8th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Red Sox ahead, 4-0.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Pitlock said after the game.
