Casarrubias Shines in 9-3 Charlotte Win
|
Sandy Casarrubias batted in 4 runs to lead Charlotte to a win over Pawtucket. The final score was 9-3. Casarrubias chipped in 3 singles and 1 home run. Colin Stack earned the win for Charlotte. He lasted 8.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 12. With the win, he raised his record to 4-2. Charlotte, at 23-24, holds down second place in the South Division.
In the bottom of the second, Casarrubias had a grand slam home run for Charlotte. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Knights on top, 4-0.
