Fifth Third Field was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Toledo Mud Hens faced a tough opponent in Buffalo pitcher Alvaro Garcia, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Fifth Third Field by a final score of 2-1. Garcia went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The Mud Hens now have a record of 27-20 with the win over Buffalo.

The decisive blow was delivered by Miguel Grado in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Dustin Marks to win the game for Toledo. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Grado said.
