Braves Suffer 7-5 Road Loss
The 7-5 Lehigh Valley win over Gwinnett was due largely to Bryce Adams. The IronPigs second baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Lehigh Valley is in 4th place in the North Division with a record of 21-27.

Andrew Babcock had a big 2-run double for the IronPigs in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Lehigh Valley trailing 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Ben Strickert, who is tied for 8th in the IL with a 9.5 K/9 rate, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the IronPigs ahead, 2-1.

Lehigh Valley manager Bryce Bissinger was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
