Clippers CF Kindell goes 3-for-4 in Win
|
The Columbus Clippers topped the Buffalo Bisons, 7-4, at Huntington Park. Columbus center fielder Rob Kindell was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Bobby Bailey earned the win for Columbus. He lasted 8.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 10. With the win, he raised his record to 1-0. The Clippers now have a record of 12-37 with the win over Buffalo.
In the first inning, Kindell had a 2-run home run for Columbus. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Clippers on top, 2-0.
"Nice to get this one," said Kindell. "Wins have been hard to come by."
