Bats Collect 3-2 Win Over Bisons
|
The Louisville Bats, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Louisville Slugger Field.
The Louisville Bats did just enough to secure a victory over the Buffalo Bisons, 3-2, in 11 innings at Louisville Slugger Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Allen Tobar. Louisville reliever Mark Langseth was the winner. His record is now 1-0. John Liley took the loss.
The Bats got a clutch hit from first baseman Jim Hall. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Bats.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Hall.
The Bats are now 24-25, while the Bisons fall to 29-20.
