Clippers Beat Knights, 2-1, at Huntington Park
Colin Stack pitched well, but his team, the Charlotte Knights, still dropped a 2-1 decision to the Columbus Clippers at Huntington Park. Jay Pritchett got the save, the 1st for him this season. The Clippers, at 23-26, sit in third place in the West Division.

The Knights had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Clippers going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old left fielder Chris Miller came to the plate. Miller hit a 2-run home run on a first pitch slider from Charlotte hurler Colin Stack. It was Miller's 2nd home run of the year.

"Good ballgame," said Charlotte manager Nick Zlomke. "But we came up on the short end."
