The Reading Fightin Phils converted a terrific effort from starter Tom Fetherolf into a win over the Harrisburg Senators at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Fightin Phils won the game by a final score of 5-0. The winner was Fetherolf. He threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Ryushin Grattan. The win hiked the Reading record to 27-25.

Rogelio Montejano had a big 2-run double for the Fightin Phils in the bottom of the third inning. With Reading leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Ryushin Grattan and swatted a double to right. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fightin Phils ahead, 4-0.

Montejano called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
