RailRiders Get 8-5 Win Versus Gwinnett
|
The Scranton WB RailRiders reigned over the Gwinnett Braves in damp conditions.
Ricky Aguirre was a major contributor to the 8-5 Scranton WB win over Gwinnett. The RailRiders center fielder was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The 4th-place RailRiders have won 4 straight.
Third Baseman Victor Soto made an impact for Scranton WB, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Bobby Olivares in the top of the fourth. For the contest, Soto went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
"We played hard and won," said Aguirre. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
