Red Wings Beat Louisville, 3-2
|
The Rochester Red Wings snuck past the Louisville Bats, 3-2, in 10 innings. Rochester second baseman Miguel Leon, in particular, had a standout performance. Rochester has now won 3 straight, while the Bats have lost 3 in a row.
Rochester used the timely hitting of J.J. Mick to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Red Wings on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Louisville manager Isaac Moles.
