In a low-scoring affair between the Buffalo Bisons and the Toledo Mud Hens, pitcher Andres Sauri was the difference between victory and defeat. The Buffalo right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 2-0 Bisons win. Buffalo currently is in second place in the North Division at 29-25.

The Mud Hens had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Bisons going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old shortstop Dannie Dorweiler came to the plate. Dorweiler hit a 2-run double on a 2-1 curveball from Toledo hurler Cole May. It was Dorweiler's 12th double of the year.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Sauri. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
