Knights Take Tight Tilt, 3-2
In a low-scoring affair between the Charlotte Knights and the Syracuse Chiefs, pitcher Colin Stack was the difference between victory and defeat. The Charlotte right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Knights win. The save was credited to Tony Ponce De Leon, his 11th. Charlotte sits in first place in the South Division at 32-22.

The Knights benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the sixth. With Brian Houston at bat and Charlotte leading 2-0, the Syracuse miscue allowed Charlotte to plate 1 and take the lead, 3-0.

Houston called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
