Lehigh Valley pitcher Wu-ti Wu had a large part in his team subduing the Charlotte Knights, 5-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Lehigh Valley reliever Wu-ti Wu got the win, raising his record to 3-5. Orlando Rocha was tagged with the loss. The IronPigs now own a record of 27-28.
Lehigh Valley used the timely hitting of Chris Majors to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the IronPigs ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Majors.
