Herrera Leads Indianapolis Past Columbus

Indianapolis and Columbus got after it at Victory Field.
The Indianapolis Indians beat the Columbus Clippers, 4-0. Indianapolis pitcher and Evergreen, Montana, native Manny Herrera led the way. Dale Lydon collected his 3rd save.
Herrera, the Indianapolis left-hander, went 7 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits. He collected 9 strikeouts.
"I had one goal in mind," said Herrera. "Keep pounding the zone."
Indianapolis, now 29-28, holds down third place in the West Division.
