The Lehigh Valley IronPigs captured an easy win, 17-4, over the Syracuse Chiefs at NBT Bank Stadium. Alex Espinoza led the offensive barrage, going 2-for-3 for Lehigh Valley. At 25-33, the IronPigs claim last place in the North Division.

Nate Armour aided the Lehigh Valley cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the first. For the game, the catcher went 1-4 with 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs.

In comments to the Lehigh Valley Today, Espinoza insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
