Clippers Stumble Again, Lose, 7-4
Led by Dustin Roberts, the Toledo Mud Hens defeated the Columbus Clippers, 7-4. Roberts was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Mud Hens. Paul Crane picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Robert Castro, who is tied for 7th in the IL in complete games with 2, was tagged with the loss. The last-place Clippers have dropped 7 straight games.

The Mud Hens got a big hit from catcher Matt Klepper. Facing Columbus pitcher Robert Castro in the bottom of the sixth, Klepper pounded a bases-clearing double to right-center. His 2nd double of the season put the Mud Hens ahead, 6-2.
