Bats Drop 3-0 Decision to Clippers
|
The Columbus Clippers beat the Louisville Bats, 3-0. Columbus pitcher and Sunrise Manor, Nevada, native Tommy Diamond led the way. With the win, the Clippers hiked their record to 33-29.
Trevor Vallee hit a run-scoring double off A.J. Cameron in the bottom of the third, which put the Clippers in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Vallee had 2 singles, while going 3 for 3.
"We'll savor this win," Vallee told the Columbus Bulletin, "then get ready for the next game."
