The Bisons grabbed a win, 5-3, at Coca-Cola Field, overcoming a fine effort from Scranton WB pitcher Elijah Wood. Wood went 7 innings and allowed 5 runs. The Bisons now own a record of 45-20.

William Taveras went 1-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Buffalo. The 29-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Elijah Wood. It was his 13th RBI of the season.

"I still think this team can play even better," Taveras told the Buffalo Chronicle.
