Fisher Cats Slap 3-1 Loss on Richmond
|
New Hampshire pitcher Josh Starlin had a large part in his team subduing the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 3-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Evan Terhaar closed it out for his 19th save. The win for the Fisher Cats lifted their record to 58-49.
Billy Morales, who is tied for 7th in the EL in hits with 101, had a direct impact on the outcome. Morales contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning to put New Hampshire up, 1-0.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Morales.
