Knights Get 10-0 Win Versus Toledo
The Charlotte Knights thumped the Toledo Mud Hens, 10-0, at BB&T Stadium. Travis Adams was a big reason his team got the win. Adams went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Kevin Brodnik got the win, improving to 3-6. He held the Mud Hens to no runs on 2 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 8 and walking 1. With the win, the Knights have a record of 37-29.

The Knights got a big at-bat from catcher Mark Clardy. For the game, Clardy went 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 11th double of the season gave Charlotte a 1-0 lead.

Knights manager Zach Strecker had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
