Mud Hens Use Late Score to Top Braves, 3-2
Ben Strickert pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Gwinnett Braves, despite Strickert's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Toledo Mud Hens at Coolray Field. The loss makes Gwinnett 33-33.

B.J. McRitchie came through with a big-time hit for Toledo. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

After the game, Toledo manager Will Esparza applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
