Pero Lester had a 3-RBI game, during Indianapolis's 8-6 triumph over the Gwinnett Braves. Lester contributed 2 singles, 1 double, and 1 walk to his team's cause. The winner in relief was Aaron Gunia. Indians manager Rene Almanza wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."

Indianapolis occupies last place in the West Division at 31-37.
